Samsung’s 70inch HDTV: Think ‘HUGE’

If you thought this is the age for ’small’ gadgets, you could be in for a surprise. For once, you will be overawed by the size of this ‘thing.’ If it is big, it has to be gigantic. And, Samsung has done just that. It has transcended the boundaries of ‘thinking big’ by releasing the 70 inch HDTV. The massive TV incorporates a LCD screen that is backlit with LEDs.
Unlike LCDs backlit with the traditional fluorescent lamp, this biggie dims darker areas in the picture to enhance the contrast. And if you are keen to learn about other features, here we go! the HDTV has a 1080 pixel resolution and HDMI 1.3 inputs.
The pricing for the colossus has not been disclosed yet. We just hope it is not as big as the size of the TV.
